I am not a Trump supporter, so I say this as someone who isn't drinking the Kool aid. The very premise of your entire argument is flawed. You probably sincerely believe the things you're saying, but you're saying them from a place that's so far removed from the everyday men and women of this county, you fail realize most people want a sledgehammer taken to the federal government. Most of what you said isn't true to begin with and that's why your side lost. The government has been squeezing average Americans, especially on the right, for a long time now and people are tired of it. Using the DoJ to go after political opponents is Banana Republic stuff, and we've seen it now for many years. So of course all the career bureaucrats, who've trampled on Americans rights, are in complete panic mode right now and they should be. The idea that the GOP is going to take away SS and women's rights is a blatant lie and it's ridiculous that people keep saying that. Now we're seeing the fruits of these vicious lies all over the place and it's horrifying. Women divorcing their husbands. People having legitimate nervous breakdowns because they're terrified they're going to lose their rights. Or some believe they're going to be rounded up and punished for some insane reason. It doesn't bother you seeing your fellow Americans scared to death like that? Knowing their fears are all based off of the very lies you're promoting? Maybe you should take some time and think about it. Calling Trump a criminal after charging and convicting him of a crime nobody in history had ever been charged with, proves it was a hit job to begin with. Why did they charge him with a crime from 2016? He was out of the office for years, yet they didn't go after him until he ran again. If this was being done to a Democrat, I doubt you'd feel the same way. The fact that the Left now vociferously defends all things government related is the real tragedy here. The federal government has been one of the most corrupt, dysfunctional institutions, for a long time and we're currently heading towards bankruptcy. Yet here you are defending the status quo and thinking you're the good guy. I know people like yourself have to pretend everything Trump does is the end of the world, and you'd never acknowledge anything successful he accomplishes, but telling everyone that this is the end of America as we know it, and that he's Hitler, isn't a winning message. Just look at the viewership of the left leaning MSM since Trump won, it's collapsing. Why? Because people are tired of being lied to and gaslit. I'm pretty confident that you won't think twice about what I'm saying here, but maybe someone is on the fence and needs to hear a sober perspective on the whole situation and that's what I'm trying to give them. I'm not a Trumper. I call balls and strikes with him. I'm just sick and tired of people lying, scaring impressionable people, for views and likes.
