The Psalms are a collections of songs and prayers. Emotions galore. The Psalms are the most quoted scriptures on the New Testament as well. Hmmm. Teach Bible. Don't try to sound cool. God will judge teachers oo. Don't people fear that??

There’s nothing wrong with emotions in prayer. Hannah got her son via emotional prayer. One of the highlights of Jesus miracles was done under emotional prayer. Davidic psalms, Lamentations etc were all emotional. The effectual heartfelt prayer of the righteous avails much.
