We are all aware of the current state of young drivers in India, and the growing obsession with high-powered SUVs has only worsened the situation. This incident is yet another disturbing reflection of the toxic mindset developing among some youth one driven by recklessness, arrogance, and a complete disregard for human life. So what do y’all think is worse? People on Twitter expressing their negative opinions about how a fundraiser for someone we all care about went? Or the host of the fundraiser shitting on those people *during the actual fundraiser*? Also, I am going to clear up James’ disinformation - literally nobody in the chat was being negative towards Karen. In fact, 90% of the negativity in the chat was directed at James. James was receiving so much negativity because of his own disrespectful and foolish behavior (watch the 2nd video to see just some examples of why I say that). On top of the comments he was making he was also moving around doing random shit constantly. Check out the 3rd video to watch James wiggle around like a bored preschooler whose breakfast cereal had way too much sugar in it for 2.5mins all while the amazing and highly respected attorney, Carl Steinbeck, was speaking. Compare his behavior to the rest of the panelists. Oh! And check out the last video to see Mike throw shade at Runkle in a feeble attempt to soothe his own fragile and wounded ego. So no - we are not the assholes in this situation. And we are not being negative about last night’s fundraiser just because we dislike some of the creators involved. If that was our motivation we would have had the same reaction to the previous fundraiser that those same people did but we didn’t. Nobody was being harsh about that fundraiser because it was ran well and respectful - last night’s fundraiser was not. My only hope is that last night was the wake up call that some people needed to realize just how bad it’s gotten and that it’s time to put on their big girl/boy panties and straighten this shit out so Karen can make sure that when all is said and done even Gary Busey is looking at people like Proctor and Bukhenik with pity.

I just watched this video of a Nigerian sharing his review of a part in Femi Otedola’s book that he read. I love it as real Nigerians who have read the book are giving real reviews. After Femi Otedola published the book, he recruited influencers to create a fake and fictitious reality of the book to choke it down the throats of Nigerians. But as ordinary Nigerians bought and read it, they realized the book is a mere wealth fiction. As I had said, while we, as “ordinary Nigerians,” can pick a thing or two from the lives and experiences of personalities like Femi Otedola and Dangote, we can’t practically model our lives after them. Why? Our reality is entirely separate and contrasting to theirs. If you, as an ordinary Nigerian, need motivation, a drive, a source of wise mentorship, look for successful people who built from the standpoint of your reality - the people who had faced struggles typical or equal to yours but scaled through. But if you spend your penny to afford Femi’s book with a strong belief that it will give you real life guard to elevation, you would be confused and frustrated from the first line of chapter one. The Democrats trying to remove RFK Jr. from every state ballot due to a mere technicality of where he lives should be the biggest news story of the week. Yet many people don’t even know it’s happening. If Harris was stuck in court because Trump/RFK were trying to get her removed off of all ballots because they deemed her a threat to themselves so the easiest way to win is merely not give people the chance to vote for her, the mainstream media would be all over the story. There would be huge protests, it would be all over social media, we would all be well aware of the terrible judicial weaponization that Trump/RFK were using against Harris and it would be chaos (rightfully so). But instead the media isn’t even covering the story, if you look up RFK right now the only thing that will pop up is a stupid bear story that took place 10 years ago. This is pure deception. News not covering stories they believe would hurt their candidate, is more damaging than them covering stories in a biased way like they usually do, because at least when a story is covered in a biased way, rational thinking people are able to realize this and make the conclusion for themselves. The media has taken a ton of flack (as they should), about how they cover stories in a way to shape their narrative. We need to also start calling them out for the stories they choose not to report on as well! If RFK loses this case and is removed from the New York State ballot and other state ballots after it due to precedence, Trump will almost certainty be elected. This one is a must read. I hope the takeaway is, at minimum, eye opening. To any player/parent trying to navigate the recruiting process right now - here is some perspective for you. I came across this video recently on Twitter - It’s a video of Juan Soto when he was 16 years old in the Dominican Republic. (Credit to parker hageman for digging it up and posting it.) I decided to do an informal case study. I sent the Soto video to 13 high-level baseball evaluators - 4 current MLB scouts, 7 current and former D1 recruiting coordinators & head coaches, 1 former pro manager/ college head coach, and 1 current JC head coach. All guys that I know and trust to give honest feedback. I told them that I had just started working with this 16 year old international player and that I was hoping to get their feedback from an evaluation perspective. 3 of the 13 knew it was Soto from the video. Of the other 10, here were the results: - 1 current D1 coach said “He looks like he’s gonna get paid. I have money for a ’26 if he doesn’t want to sign with an MLB team. Somebody will pay that swing.” - 2 of them liked his physical upside and bat speed and said once he puts on some weight they think he’s got a chance. - 7 of them said something along the lines of… “He needs to go to a JC”, “he has too much effort in his swing”, “looks like he has some timing issues”, etc... The video was taken shortly before he signed for $1.5m with the Washington Nationals. He is a future Hall of Famer. Let that sink in for a moment. The question is, why were the majority of these college coaches and scouts flawed in their initial evaluation of the short video I sent them of a guy who signed for $1.5m with the Washington Nationals a few months later? - Are they bad evaluators? - Was the video not a good enough representation of Soto’s ability? - Was there not enough context as to his track record and other tools to make an informed evaluation? - Is it just difficult to evaluate a player off of 1 minute of video? - Did the fact that he is an international guy change things? - If he had hit 3 homers in this video reel would they have a different opinion? In all honesty, I wasn’t surprised by any of these responses. I might’ve said the same thing if I didn’t know it was Soto. It is likely a combination of multiple of the reasons I listed above… but the point I am trying to make here is this: I hear all the time from high school and JC players/parents about how frustrated, disappointed, or defeated they feel because they aren’t getting interest from college coaches, and because coaches don’t respond to their emails & DM’s. So here is the perspective that you need to understand: even Juan Soto’s video from a few months before signing a $1.5m contract didn’t garner the type of interest that you would expect. Are you better than Juan Soto was at 16 years old? Are you a future hall of fame caliber player? There are so many factors that go into the recruiting process. It is a multi-sided marketplace where each stakeholder (college coach and player) has to have a mutual need and interest in one another. Baseball is the hardest sport to evaluate and it’s not even close, IMO. Coaches and scouts are wrong all the time. Players can get exponentially better in a short period of time. It’s not always a pretty process, but all it takes is one coach to see something in you and want to invest in you. Dial in the things you can control. Make sure coaches to have the full picture of who you are as a player and why you can help them win. And don’t be upset when you get limited responses/feedback. It happened to Soto too - and he is much better than you.

This is gonna be so long omg but when it comes to translating in Korean, it’s very very important to take in consideration of 1) Culture 2) Seniority, the Closeness & Intimacy of the people involved in a conversation. Because this gives an entire different vibe for the context. And we have to keep in mind that there are Korean phrases and expressions that simply don’t have just One way, exact words that can be translated in English. Translators can find ways to convey the meaning, but it requires more explanation and understanding of the context while conveying it, and not relying on assumptions. How about “인상 덜 쓰기” or “인상 쓰다“ then? Here, a direct translation can simply be 인상 덜 쓰기 - be less grumpy/ frown less, etc 인상 쓰다 - being grumpy, frown, make a face, etc Here, I include an educational video of an English speaker talking with a Korean speaker where they’re discussing a similar expression, “인상 좀 쓰지마!“ (which in word by word in English, it sounds something like “Don’t frown/ Don’t make a face”) Now, as an English speaker, that sounds a bit harsh doesn’t it? That’s because such expression doesn’t exist in just One interpretation in English, so if we only read it as it is, without considering the context and the speakers’ closeness, we’re bound to misunderstand the context. Quoting some parts of this video, 💚: “Now, Tyler’s expression for today is ‘인상 좀 쓰지마!’. Have you ever heard of this expression? 🩶: I’ve heard something like that before 💚: Then doesn’t this mean there’s a same expression in English too right? 🩶: Oh! I’ve only heard it in Korea 💚: Ah really? The guy then explained that if you say something like this in english, it can be rude. so it’s better not to say it in English-speaking countries. He gave examples like “If you do that, you’ll get wrinkles”, and the other guy added something like “If you make an ugly face, you’ll have wrinkles” and said that “If someone (an English speaker) hears this they would think I must be crazy” Here, they’re talking about the cultural differences. A phrase like this, when expressed directly, without considering people’s closeness, and being translated exactly like that, would sound so negative to English speakers. *also notice how this phrase is being worded in various ways??? ‘HOW’ it can sound to someone, really depends on their culture, their closeness with the person, and context* So later on, he gave a few more examples like, “stop making such a long face”, and “stop wrinkling your forehead”. And concluded that: 💚: Well in that case, the phrase “인상 좀 쓰지마” is basically a phrase that doesn’t exist in English. 🩶: It’s an expression that we don’t use. It’s not that it doesn’t exist. (This part, he’s explaining that there’s no such a thing as word by word to explain this phrase in English, bcs we English speakers use different wordings that is more suitable for a situation’s nuances.) Then again, we have to consider speakers’ closeness as well because in Korea, it’s a huge thing. If you don’t understand how this works, you won’t understand the nuances of a conversation. “I can’t speak on whether he was close to converting…I do think from what I’ve been told that he was planning on signing up and starting that process [of becoming Catholic]. But I did not personally have that conversation with him…” A few things: Candace says she can’t speak on whether Charlie was close to converting to Catholicism—and then immediately goes on to speak about how she thinks he was close to converting. 🙄 Additionally, the first time she ever spoke about this (September 15th, see the 2nd clip below) she suggested he was close to converting. Because it’s Candace, she didn’t come right out and say, but she said he “was on the verge of changing some of his beliefs” and then went on to speak about how he was praying the rosary and attending mass. She also referenced him “taking that last step.” All of those things paired together imply (again without outright saying) he was close to converting. She also said in the same episode he was “too smart to be Protestant.” Mind you, this was FIVE DAYS after Charlie had been murdered. Charlie’s parents are Protestant. His wife was raised Catholic but is now Protestant. And whether you think he was close to converting or not, Charlie died Protestant. Her saying that FIVE DAYS after his murder was callous and tone deaf. This is how Candace makes things always and all about herself. This was in fact the first thing that clued me in that something was seriously wrong, after previously being her fan. Today, she doubled down on her implications that Charlie was close to converting (even though again she’d just said she couldn’t speak on that). She said she and Charlie were having conversations about it, but the only evidence she’s ever presented is a single vague text allegedly from him and dated February 2024. Lastly, Candace admitted today that she heard from someone else that Charlie was becoming Catholic (likely Bishop Joseph Brennan). But if she and Charlie were already having conversations about the possibility of him converting (as she claims they were), why wouldn’t he tell Candace directly? Especially when again they allegedly were already having conversations about it? Please listen to what this woman actually says from one month, one week, one day to the next. And parse it out. Hear what she’s saying and also what she’s not saying. Determine what she’s implying. Compare herself to herself. And see if she makes sense to you, if she provides clarity to you, if she provides evidence. Not just on the subject of Charlie converting but on all subjects pertaining to this “investigation.” Finally, this has NOTHING to do with who murdered Charlie and why. She also referenced him “taking that last step.” All of those things paired together imply (again without outright saying) he was close to converting. She also said in the same episode he was “too smart to be Protestant.” Mind you, this was FIVE DAYS after Charlie had been murdered. Charlie’s parents are Protestant. His wife was raised Catholic but is now Protestant. And whether you think he was close to converting or not, Charlie died Protestant. Her saying that FIVE DAYS after his murder was callous and tone deaf. This is how Candace makes things always and all about herself. Not only do I have nothing against Alex jones, I like him. And I only am posting this about Harrison because he constantly bad mouthes me on Twitter after blocking me. So, it is perhaps not a surprise that on June 24th, members of the Recording Industry Association of America, which represents the major record labels, filed a lawsuit against Suno, alleging that the data used in training our music generation technologies infringed on the copyrights of the major record labels that they represent. This lawsuit is fundamentally flawed on both the facts and the law, and is nothing more than yet another instance where they chose litigation over innovation. For starters, the major record labels clearly hold misconceptions about how our technology works. Much of the open internet indeed contains copyrighted materials, and some of it is owned by major record labels. But, just like the kid writing their own rock songs after listening to the genre — or a teacher or a journalist reviewing existing materials to draw new insights — learning is not infringing. It never has been, and it is not now. The timing of this lawsuit was somewhat surprising. When this lawsuit landed, Suno was, in fact, having productive discussions with a number of the RIAA's major record label members to find ways of expanding the pie for music together. We did so not because we had to, but because we believe that the music industry could help us lead this expansion of opportunity for everyone, rather than resisting it. In a country where Black men already carry heavy stereotypes, there are certain lines you don’t cross when it comes to each other, not for clicks, not for strategy, not for a win. And Kendrick? For many, he wasn’t just any rapper. He was supposed to be different. The one people pointed to as “principled”, representing something deeper for blacks. That’s why it hit harder, and many of us are now angry and stand against him on principle. For many of us, it’s not even about picking sides; at first, it’s about the standard. Because if Drake (my favorite rapper of all time) had said the same things about Kendrick, I’d feel the same way. No hesitation- I would have cut him off like I did Kendrick. Some accusations don’t stay in music; they follow real people, real lives. And putting that on a Black man, knowing how this country and most of the world already operate? That’s where many of us draw the line. So yeah- this video captures it perfectly. The frustration. The disappointment and the shift in many of us. Because when Kendrick, the one who was seen as “different”, moves like everyone else, you have to question if it was ever real at all. The brands he works with also support and acknowledge the whole group, celebrating their releases and anniversaries. Taking a cropped video out of context to claim that he took credit for Stray Kids’ work is simply not true. He has never claimed responsibility for the group’s success, he has always credited it to the team. The MC asked him whether he writes and composes, and Felix answered honestly, because he does. The question was never whether he wrote all of Stray Kids’ songs. Felix has 25 KOMCA credits , which makes him a singer, songwriter, and composer: Even when discussing his own work, he ended his answer by emphasizing teamwork and staying positive as a group. I ask everyone to take a moment to research before spreading misinformation or joining akgaes in targeting him. The past few months have been exhausting, with repeated hate trains directed at him for no valid reason. What’s more disappointing is that much of this negativity is coming from within the fandom itself. If Felix bothers you, it’s better to focus your energy on what you enjoy instead. And if you do care about him, please stop engaging with akgaes and amplifying negativity toward the members. “In contravention to Judge Krupp’s preservation order, DA Morrissey’s Office gave the go ahead to Brian Albert and Brian Higgins to destroy or dispose of their phones.” ——Attorney David Yannetti, per the federal investigation Judge Krupp’s preservation order was issued back before the Fall of 2022, before #KarenRead’s case was transferred to Norfolk Superior Court. Preservation requests were subsequently re-examined and court orders reissued by judge Beverly Cannone upon Read’s June 2022 indictment and transfer to Superior Court. Presumably this means that the federal evidence shows that DA Michael Morrissey gave “witnesses” Brian Albert and Brian Higgins the go ahead to destroy evidence—their phones, back before Karen’s case moved over to superior court and judge Beverly Cannone ruled on the previously court-ordered preservation requests. Likely sometime in the Summer/Fall of 2022. This would also align with the fact that the Commonwealth refused to turn over the original Canton Police Department report to Karen Read’s defense counsel until October of 2022—over 8 months after she was arrested, at which point they’d surreptitiously altered the report in an effort to make Karen look more guilty. Notably, however, they also changed Brian Albert and Brian Higgins’ phone numbers on this altered report. This suggests that the timeframe when DA Michael Morrissey presumably gave both Brians the go ahead to destroy/dispose of their phones was sometime before October 2022, when this now altered version of the CPD report was finally produced to the defense. Why does this matter? On August 25, 2023, DA Morrissey put out a video statement personally vouching for the credibility of these same witnesses—Brian Albert and Brian Higgins. This is incredibly problematic for DA Morrissey. The mere fact that he apparently told “witnesses” they could destroy their phones is hard to overcome. How can DA Morrissey feign ignorance of the conspiracy to coverup Officer #JohnOKeefe’s murder after he himself gave “witnesses” permission to destroy their phones, or evidence? This fact alone makes him COMPLICIT. But beyond complicity, the fact that Morrissey then went on to make his exceedingly problematic video statement in August 2023 where he personally vouched for the credibility of these same “witnesses” thereby makes him a co-conspirator in the coverup of Officer O’Keefe’s murder AND in the framing of innocent woman Karen Read. What possible explanation could he offer for such actions and conduct? There’s no innocent explanation. His video statement, removed of this backstory, was already outrageous and arguably violative of Rules 3.6 and 3.8 of Professional Conduct in addition to being violative of Karen Read’s constitutional rights. Additionally, this video statement appeared to be an active effort to taint the jury pool. Why else would he send it out to every possible news and media outlet? This fact, and this fact alone, from the evidence produced by the federal investigation, completely sinks this prosecution, and in fact, seems to suggest that DA Michael Morrissey actually knows who the REAL culprits in Officer O’Keefe’s murder are. His own “witnesses”! Why on earth else would he instruct them to destroy their phones, especially after the court ordered them to be preserved? THIS, consciousness of guilt evidence, is used by prosecutors, including by DA Michael Morrissey’s Office, all the time as incriminating evidence in criminal prosecutions. What does it say about DA Morrissey’s consciousness of guilt? At the very least it seems to expose his awareness of his office pursuing a wrongful prosecution. “In contravention to Judge Krupp’s preservation order, DA Morrissey’s Office gave the go ahead to Brian Albert and Brian Higgins to destroy or dispose of their phones.” ——Attorney David Yannetti, per the federal investigation Judge Krupp’s preservation order was issued back before the Fall of 2022, before #KarenRead’s case was transferred to Norfolk Superior Court. Preservation requests were subsequently re-examined and court orders reissued by judge Beverly Cannone upon Read’s June 2022 indictment and transfer to Superior Court. Presumably this means that the federal evidence shows that DA Michael Morrissey gave “witnesses” Brian Albert and Brian Higgins the go ahead to destroy evidence—their phones, back before Karen’s case moved over to superior court and judge Beverly Cannone ruled on the previously court-ordered preservation requests. Likely sometime in the Summer/Fall of 2022. This would also align with the fact that the Commonwealth refused to turn over the original Canton Police Department report to Karen Read’s defense counsel until October of 2022—over 8 months after she was arrested, at which point they’d surreptitiously altered the report in an effort to make Karen look more guilty. Notably, however, they also changed Brian Albert and Brian Higgins’ phone numbers on this altered report. This suggests that the timeframe when DA Michael Morrissey presumably gave both Brians the go ahead to destroy/dispose of their phones was sometime before October 2022, when this now altered version of the CPD report was finally produced to the defense. Not only is this one of the nicest, most heartfelt compliments that anyone has ever given me.. but what Ren says afterwards are some of the most important words I’ve heard spoken in the these turbulent times we live in. I’ve always felt and often preached the same ideology throughout my music, but I can admit that at times, even seeing the world for what it truly is, I’ve gotten caught up in some of the divisiveness that the orchestrators of our reality put in place to keep us fighting. Sometimes it’s hard not to. Sometimes it’s out of defense when my words are misunderstood or taken out of context. Sometimes certain stances, whether popular or not, do need to be taken by someone with thick enough skin to deal with the blowback. But also, sometimes I’ve been wrong. Sometimes I’ve gotten carried away. Sometimes I’ve forgotten to put myself in the shoes of someone on the other side of whatever point I’m trying to make and fallen into the very same us vs. them mentality he speaks about here. The truth is, we do have a common enemy. And we need to quickly realize that it isn’t each other. Because if we don’t find a way to set aside our differences, the future is going to be a very scary place. It already is. Love overpowers hate every single time. And I’d also like to return the compliment Ren. You’re the most talented human being I’ve ever worked with, and I can’t express to you how grateful I am to have had you and your team enter my life. You helped me fall back in love with music in a way I hadn’t felt in years. Thanks for taking the time to see past my gruff exterior and understand the person beneath it.
