What you and others fail to understand is DOGE is authorized by Congress, because DOGE is renamed/repurposed from USDS. It’s actually pretty genius that out of all the agencies, departments and organizations he could’ve chose from, he picked USDS. USDS is authorized by Congress to evaluate ALL digital systems within the federal government. They also have a directive from the Executive Branch to audit all agencies under the Executive Branch. And since all the federal agencies fall under the Executive Office, POTUS is the Executive Branch. Elon Musk already has top secret clearance and his DOGE team doesn’t need any clearance. They just need to watch 3 eLearnings, and sing a few forms and they’re granted access to whatever systems the USDS has access to. Since USDS by Congressional approval has access to ALL digital systems, this is absolutely legal. There is a TRO on the access because democrats are going to democrat, but it doesn’t stop them from being able to do what they’re doing. USDS already has access to HHS, DoD, DoE, SBA and all the other agencies.
