It would have been great if Getachew had this same realisation 2 years prior but nevertheless glad that this is being voiced. Lukewarm support for practices that slowly erode democratic practices is what allows impunity to grow.

I think that he knew it even before 2 years. But let alone to act, even to say it then could possibly bring him a lot of rejection from the society. The fact that all their wrongdoings come to surface now is not only makes him to speak publicly, even the society now able to see their flaws clearly. Right thing in wrong timing is probably resulted wrong So, it is all about timing, not just what you do is right.
