it would only make sense that the person who defined the action for this series would do its last ever odm sequence, and Arifumi Imai came back to deliver his craziest work in the series

I really just thought it would be a dream like scenario and a full circle to have Imai come back to do the last odm scene when he did the first-- and that's what happened. Insane

Not that I’m an animation expert or have too much knowledge, but when I first saw this, I had a feeling of similarity that it might just be him who did this and man he sure did this scene spectacularly.

Can't stop watching this sequence

I couldn't stop screaming. When I saw the shot of Levi standing, I shouted ARIFUMI IMAIIII and slammed my desk hard many times. Absolutely God tier and arguably his best work in the series. The way the camera just rotates around the characters and Mikasa's final blow was PERFECT.

That transition from Levi to Mikasa is so so good
