“Tinubu And His Government Have Failed Nigerians. It Is Sad That Criminality Has Been Allowed To Thrive In Nigeria Without Any Consequences. It Is Heartbreaking That In a Country Like Nigeria Today, Killings Are Happening Across The Nation. I Find It Really Sad That In 2026, With All The Technology At Our Disposal, Insurgency, Insecurity, Kidnapping, And Banditry Are Still Thriving. Make It Make Sense To Me.” ~ Lasisi Elenu

The House of Representatives to investigate the recently approved construction of an airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of Living Faith Church, as authorized by the Minister of Aviation. They have expressed concerns that allowing private entities to establish airstrips may facilitate the illegal importation of firearms and hard drugs into the country, which could exacerbate issues related to insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping. In the motion presented by the Honorable Sulaiman Abubakar Mahmud Gummi, it is requested that the House urges the Minister of Aviation to cease the issuance of airstrip licenses to private individuals. Additionally, the motion calls for the withdrawal of any licenses that have already been granted to private entities and organizations.

Senate Rejects Motion to Grant Defence Minister-Designate a “Bow and Go” Privilege The Senate on Tuesday rejected a motion by Senator Sani Musa (APC, Niger East) seeking to allow the Minister of Defence nominee, Lt.-Gen. Christopher Musa (retd), to “take a bow and go” without rigorous questioning, citing his distinguished military career and previous role as Chief of Defence Staff. The motion was opposed by several senators who insisted that all nominees, regardless of prior public service, must undergo full screening in line with parliamentary tradition.

While Nigerians are busy focusing on Tinubu on insecurity. Yesterday, Senator Adams Oshiomole raised a motion in the senate demanding a probe into how the billions being allocated to security are being spent. He also demanded a probe to find out who commanded the security forces to be withdrawn moments prior to the Kebbi school kidnapping. Guess what? The Senators rejected the motion. The evil senators we ignore and focus on Tinubu. HOLD YOUR LAW MAKERS ACCOUNTABLE TOO!!!

All 100 U.S. Senators have approved the Epstein bill through unanimous consent. As CNN’s Manu Raju explained, this wasn’t a normal vote. It was a procedural green light, eliminating delays and skipping a formal roll-call entirely. Raju broke down in detail what comes next: “But now it is on its way to the president’s desk in a remarkable turnaround, in an extremely fast move here, the senate has essentially greenlighted this bill to be approved as soon as tonight and be sent to the president’s desk.” “Now, essentially, what happened was that in the aftermath of this house vote this afternoon, 427 to 1, just one member of the entire United States house voting against it, this is now on its way to the Senate.” “Now, there has not been a formal process that would be formally sent over to the United States Senate. That process would take some time to get through the official writing of…getting the bill over across the capitol.” “It’s an arcane process, but once it gets over to the United States Senate, that’s when the bill can be read in the senate and officially essentially passed.” “So what we just saw moments ago was Chuck Schumer, the Senate Democratic leader, he went to the floor of the United States Senate, and he said…he asked for what’s known in the Senate as unanimous consent.” “That means that all 100 Senators have to agree, or one Senator could object and slow things down. He asked unanimous consent that for when the Senate receives the final paperwork of the bill that just passed the United States House, that it would be approved by the United States Senate.” “Nobody objected to that, Jake. So what that means is that as soon as it formally transmitted, this bill is formally transmitted from the House to the Senate, the Senate will essentially have it approved.” “It will be approved in their chamber. There does not need to be a roll call vote, and then it will go to the president’s desk for his signature, in which the president has indicated that he will sign.”

VIDEO In this video update, constitutional lawyer James Manson, who is funded by the Justice Centre and represents peaceful Freedom Convoy protestors and donors, explains the significance of a motion seeking a permanent stay of proceedings in the $290 million class action lawsuit. The motion was brought after it was revealed that the plaintiffs’ lawyer failed to disclose a settlement agreement with one of the defendants for nearly two years, despite legal requirements that such agreements be disclosed immediately to all parties. Mr. Manson explains why this failure raises serious concerns about procedural fairness and the integrity of the legal process. Fox: "People want to know why the Senate has a majority of Republicans and they can't pass it..." Thune: "To get around the 60 vote threshold, you would have to nuke the filibuster and there aren't the votes for that. It's a math issue. It isn't a question of leadership."

Sen. Akpabio Asked Me to Make Him 'Happy' to Facilitate My Motion on Ajaokuta - Akpoti-Uduaghan I attempted to raise a motion regarding corrupt practices at the Ajaokuta Steel Company. I listed this motion five times, and it was only on the sixth occasion that it appeared on the order paper. When I approached the Senate President to enquire why my motion had been repeatedly stepped down, he told me that as the Chief Presiding Officer of the Senate, he could offer me a great deal of opportunity if I took care of him and made him happy. Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Federal Lawmaker Representing Kogi Central Senatorial District

"I don't bend on the Constitution" : GOP Rep Ryan Zinke responds to Trump's assertion to NBC over the weekend that there are "methods" to him seeking a third term and that he's "not joking." Repealing or changing the 22nd Amendment would require 2/3 votes in both the House and the Senate and the ratification by 3/4 of the states.
