Two problems here, Mrs Meloni : - Europe does not exits as a political Union. There is only corrupt EU commission and EU parliament without power. - WHO decides what diplomatic way to go ? Mrs con der Leyen as unelected war mongerer ? - Better all nations speak for them selfs.

We are already strengthening the EU, first and foremost from a security perspective. And today, security is a priority for everyone. The European Parliament’s position remains significant to ensure that all of our agreements in Europe regarding defense and shared strength are practically implemented. We need further principled political support both for Ukraine and for the entire project of a united Europe, which is the European Union. No European nation that shares and defends common European values should be left out of European unity. In Ukraine, we have met all of the necessary conditions for the adoption of the negotiating framework in June of this year, as previously agreed, and the actual start of Ukraine's EU accession talks. It is equally important for European unity to practically work for other nations that deserve to join the EU to also fulfil their candidate status. Balkan nations and Moldova are part of Europe, and I am also confident that there will be Europe Days for Georgia and Belarus. All of this is already reflected in the positions of the European Parliament, and it is really important that they are implemented.

What is your position on the government's stance at the moment on Europe and how our ongoing relationship with Europe should look?" David Miliband, "Well, I'm convinced that the security and prosperity of the UK depends on an institutionalized, deep and strong relationship with the rest of Europe. I'm absolutely convinced of that. The Russian invasion of Ukraine shows the way in which that's our number one security threat now." David Miliband, "But, we know our economy has been shrunk by 6 to 8% in the 10 years since Brexit. So there's an economic part of that. So when the government says we want a reset of our relations with Europe, I think that's a good thing. But then when I look that the reset so far is only worth £9 billion by 2040 and I remember that Britain is a 3 trillion pound economy, I'm left saying, no, we need a much higher dosage in our reset." Anna Foster, "How high? I mean, do you advocate for rejoining the EU?" David Miliband, "Well, I'm somewhat bemused by some of the commentary. In my last European Council meeting in 2021, I pointed out that just a few days earlier President Biden had met President Putin in Geneva, and I proposed that we Europeans should also find a format to meet with President Putin. That failed at the time because people said, ‘No, on Russia policy we do not have a common position.’ And I think you then have to keep working until you do have a common position.
