How much construction is underway at Gig Texas? A lot more than most seem to realize so I thought I’d share this higher altitude flyover to help out much of it into context. This covers about 40-45% of the total land area and there is some additional construction just visible well off the the west of this flyover (the far right of the frame). I hope this is helpful and oh … lets you know where a substantial amount of all that CAPEX that everyone seems worried about is going. This is what everyone will be talking about in 2028 … all under construction right now.

But a certain corporation wants to dump a whole lot of treated Sewage from about 2900 homes which would discharge on average 1 million gallons per day of treated sewage into the Hilotes Creek watershed which recharges up to 15% of the Edwards aquifer. It is called Lennar Corp. And it is a Florida based developer and they want to put a big 2900 home subdivision in there and then dump all this treated sewage. Keep in mind, when they treat sewage, they're not pulling out the fluoride, the chlorine, the trace pharmaceuticals, the contraceptives, all this estrogenic chemicals would go right into the water table. So this is the permit screenshot it we need to make sure this doesn't happen. (See video) I don't even live in Texas and I want to see that watershed clean.”

Perhaps there is no evidence of plant or animal domestication at Gobekli Tepe specifically, but there IS EVIDENCE of both plant and animal domestication at the incredible Tas Tepeler site of Nevali Cori. In fact Nevali Cori yeilds some of the earliest evidence of plant and animal domestication anywhere in the world. The Tas Tepeler people could very well have been the first to invent both, and my money is that they were. So much of their archaeology has yet to be explored and its probably only a matter of time before we find evidence of domestication at another Tas Tepeler site older than Nevali Cori. Don't try to excavate Nevali Cori any more however as it was intentionally flooded to build a dam and now sits forever at the bottom of the reservoir of the Attaturk Dam. Here's a recreation of an enclosure at Nevali Cori I recently filmed at a museum in Berlin. If it looks familiar, it's because it looks quite similar to Gobekli Tepe.

We witnessed the raw power of nature yesterday just south of Seward Alaska! It was incredible to watch this massive glacier calving, sending a huge wave through the water. Absolutely breathtaking to see firsthand. Glacial calving is a natural process where large chunks of ice break off from the edge of a glacier. This typically happens at the “terminus” or snout, where the glacier meets the sea, a lake, or even dry land. When these massive pieces of ice fall into the water, they become icebergs, or in smaller pieces, “growlers” or “bergy bits.” The process is primarily driven by gravity and the movement of the glacier itself. As a glacier flows—acting like a slow-moving river of ice—it experiences immense internal stress. When it reaches a point where it is no longer supported by land or where it extends out over the water, the ice becomes unstable. Cracks called crevasses form in the ice, and when these cracks penetrate deep enough, a section of the ice can no longer hold its own weight and snaps off, crashing down with incredible force. Calving is a dynamic and loud phenomenon that often triggers significant waves. It is a normal part of a glacier’s life cycle, and very common in the warmer summer months.

This is how DNA turns coded information into functional proteins - the building blocks of the nanomachines that keep the cells in your body alive. This complex process highlights the sophisticated interconnected systems of Life which must all exist together from the beginning, or Life doesn't happen. First, an RNA molecule is copied from a short segment of DNA. Without the specifically ordered DNA information, RNA cannot form, proteins cannot be built, cells stop working, and life ceases to exist. Life is information first. Once the RNA Molecule is created, it gets ejected from the Polymerase where it was built, and it travels through a complex molecular machine called a Nuclear Pore Complex (NPC), which is an information recognition device that controls the flow of information in and out of a cell's nucleus. The NPC is highly complex - composed of about 500-1,000 protein subunits, derived from a set of about 35 distinct proteins. Without this molecular machine, there is no regulation for what goes in and out of the cell's nucleus, which would lead to catastrophic death for the cell. It must exist for cells to exist. Once the RNA Molecule passes through the NPC, it travels to the Ribosome, a 2-part chemical factory which reads the information on RNA and uses it to construct functional proteins using a specifically sequenced chain of amino acids. Once complete, this protein will then be sent to the section of the cell it belongs to integrate into another molecular machine and do its job. The Ribosome is another highly complex molecular machine - consisting of between 56-80 proteins. Without this molecular machines, proteins cannot be built. Proteins are the building blocks of every cell in every organism on Earth. Without Ribosomes, Life doesn't exist. DNA requires the cell for stability, but the cell requires the proteins for its structure and function, but those proteins require DNA and RNA to be built - it's a circle of necessary interdependence. Systems like this cannot be built by evolutionary processes, which requires that each piece of the process is built by gradual incremental means over lots of time. Without all the pieces there, from the beginning, none of it works. There is only one known source of complex & interdependent informational systems like those we find in life: and that is from Intelligence. Molecular Biology is the best and most obvious evidence of the Intelligent Design in Life.

This is how DNA turns coded information into functional proteins - the building blocks of the nanomachines that keep the cells in your body alive. This complex process highlights the sophisticated interconnected systems of Life which must all exist together from the beginning, or Life doesn't happen. First, an RNA molecule is copied from a short segment of DNA. Without the specifically ordered DNA information, RNA cannot form, proteins cannot be built, cells stop working, and life ceases to exist. Life is information first. Once the RNA Molecule is created, it gets ejected from the Polymerase where it was built, and it travels through a complex molecular machine called a Nuclear Pore Complex (NPC), which is an information recognition device that controls the flow of information in and out of a cell's nucleus. The NPC is highly complex - composed of about 500-1,000 protein subunits, derived from a set of about 35 distinct proteins. Without this molecular machine, there is no regulation for what goes in and out of the cell's nucleus, which would lead to catastrophic death for the cell. It must exist for cells to exist. Once the RNA Molecule passes through the NPC, it travels to the Ribosome, a 2-part chemical factory which reads the information on RNA and uses it to construct functional proteins using a specifically sequenced chain of amino acids. Once complete, this protein will then be sent to the section of the cell it belongs to integrate into another molecular machine and do its job. The Ribosome is another highly complex molecular machine - consisting of between 56-80 proteins. Without this molecular machines, proteins cannot be built. Proteins are the building blocks of every cell in every organism on Earth. Without Ribosomes, Life doesn't exist. Crater Lake is almost 2,000 feet deep because 7,700 years ago, a 12,000-foot volcano collapsed into itself. That’s what makes the place so interesting. You aren’t looking at a normal mountain lake in southern Oregon. You’re looking at what remains of Mount Mazama, a huge Cascade volcano that once rose roughly 12,000 feet above sea level. Then it erupted. The eruption was one of the largest on Earth in the last 12,000 years. Ash and rock were blasted high into the atmosphere, and pyroclastic flows tore through the surrounding valleys. So much magma escaped from beneath Mount Mazama that the upper part of the mountain could no longer support itself. The summit collapsed, leaving behind a basin roughly five to six miles across. Over time, rain and snow filled it. Crater Lake has no rivers flowing into it and no river carrying water out. The lake is fed mostly by precipitation, and evaporation and seepage help keep the water level fairly stable. At 1,943 feet, it’s the deepest lake in the United States. That depth is also part of the reason the water looks so blue. On a clear day, the color can look almost unreal. The lake is so deep and clear that longer wavelengths of light are absorbed, while blue light is scattered back toward your eyes. Then there’s Wizard Island. It looks like a small cone sitting in the lake, but it’s actually another volcano that formed after Mount Mazama collapsed. Most of it is underwater. Volcanic activity continued inside the caldera for thousands of years after the main eruption. People were here before all of this happened. Archaeologists have found human artifacts beneath the ash and pumice from Mount Mazama, showing that Native people were using this area before the eruption. The area later became deeply important to the Klamath people and other Native communities. That’s worth knowing before you visit because Crater Lake can easily become one of those places where you stop, take the obvious photo, and leave. The first view from the rim is incredible on its own. Forest gives way to steep cliffs and a huge stretch of blue water filling the remains of a mountain that disappeared thousands of years ago. If I were planning the trip, I’d go in summer or early fall, when more of the park is usually open. Crater Lake gets a huge amount of snow, and parts of Rim Drive can stay closed well into summer depending on the year. But whenever you go, remember what you’re actually looking at. Those cliffs were once part of a mountain. Wizard Island is a volcano growing inside the ruins of another volcano.
