"Rabiu Kwankwaso thinks we are all mad for him to come and tell us Peter Obi will step aside after 4 years. The same 4 year agreement failed with Obasanjo, it also failed with Goodluck Jonathan and now you expect an Igbo person looking for power since the civil war to handover to you after 4 years"

This one's for the sicko's. On this day 19 years ago, the #Isles completed a run to the Stanley Cup Playoffs that was extremely unlikely. Three points back with four games to go... can history repeat itself? 🎥The Wade Dubielewicz run. (2007)

For 15 years, John Thornton and his family have turned their backyard into a hockey lover's dream It's seen games that rival the intensity of the 4 Nations Tournament. But it's also been the home ice for a close group of friends who have played here since they were teenagers... Doesn't get much more WNY than this!

When great powers rise throughout history, they generally do so for the same reasons. These successful new orders are typically started by powerful revolutionary leaders doing four things: 1) Winning power by gaining more support than their opposition 2) Consolidating power by converting, weakening, or eliminating that opposition 3) Establishing systems and institutions that make the country work well 4) Creating systems that pick successors well over several generations

The Raiders will not be trading for Justin Jefferson despite the "trade rumors" It's fun to talk about since he's a CLEAR top 2 WR in the NFL & has ties with: - Head Coach: Klint Kubiak (2 years) - QB: Kirk Cousins (4 years) - OC: Andrew Janocko (2 Years) It doesn't make sense for the Raiders to trade multiple first round picks & more for a WR since Las Vegas isn't a WR away from a Super Bowl...

Notre Dame is re-writing it's modern recruiting history. With four 5⭐️ recruits. The most in program history and in the Nation for the incoming class. Marcus Freeman’s former teammate wants to know what his secret sauce is: "Our difference maker is [education]. It's a guarantee the game of football is going to end. We pride ourselves on what we can do for you after that. Notre Dame isn’t selling 4 years — it’s selling 40 and it's out front playing line leader, with young people following behind.

It's been: 4 years since the prototype 3 years since the announcement 2 years since the early access 1 year since the full release And today… exactly one year after we launched, and we’re officially 63 days away from the console release! We've not done yet! We just can't wait to hit another milestone! Games take time, and this bumpy journey has been incredible. Thank you so much for your time spent with our game, it means alot. Rally on!

🗣️ Bukayo Saka: “We know the history of the club and we know that tomorrow we can write history as players winning it for the first time, he said. “So that already is a lot of motivation for us. “We all know where my journey started. Seven, eight years old at Hale End. This was a long way away, trying to win the Premier League, trying to win the Champions League with Arsenal. It feels like this last week, it's all kind of become a reality. And tomorrow, I'm very excited about the opportunity to win another trophy here and to create that history for the club that I love.”

This puts Pyramid building into context. By comparison, the pyramids in Egypt were built from roughly the same blocks. Now there are some ancient stones that actually weight over 100 ton, and there are close to 4 million blocks. According to the main stream history, 4 million of these size blocks were cut, quarried, shaped and positioned every 2-4 minutes, 24-hours per day, 7 days a week, for 25 years. When you take that into consideration and all without the electrical power or machines, you come to conclusion that this couldn't possibly be done by civilization that thousand years prior was living in the "stone age".

Most people don't realize the biggest bottleneck for AI isn't chips anymore, it's energy. And it's not even close. Greg Osuri, founder of Akash Network: "We have about $2 trillion in sovereign commitments, and most of that money is to develop energy infrastructure. But AI moves in months. Energy doesn't." "To get a transformer today, 4 to 7 years. Samsung has $150 billion in pending orders." "A nuclear reactor from permit to power takes about 15 years. Gas turbines? Same problem. Energy doesn't move as fast as data centers do." This is the dark horse that could slow down the entire AI boom.

$RTX 3090 was never designed to be a server GPU. Yet someone just built a 4-GPU AI workstation around four of them. 4× RTX 3090 96GB VRAM 256GB ECC RAM AMD EPYC 7K62 2000W PSU 11 fans The interesting part isn't the performance. It's the memory. Four 24GB cards can be found for a fraction of what you'd pay for modern datacenter GPUs with similar total VRAM. The catch is obvious: 96GB doesn't behave like one 96GB GPU. You still have to deal with GPU-to-GPU communication, power and heat. But for local AI, this is exactly why the 3090 refuses to disappear. Would you build this today?$

Jarmo Kekelainen on why the Sabres did not trade pick No. 4 overall: “There were a ton of calls early on about pick No. 4 but we weren’t going to move it for something that wasn’t significant. It would have taken a significant offer for us to move from four…To outright trade pick No. 4 it would have needed to be an impact player who could have played with our team for a good period of time. Not just helped us next year or the year after. Somebody with either term or good age that we have control of for many, many years. That’s what you get with pick No. 4. you get a guy that can be in your system for the next 10-15 years.”

19 YEARS BEFORE HAMAS TOOK CONTROL OF GAZA In March 1988, Thames TV reporter Peter Gill documented life in the occupied Strip. No Hamas in power—the movement hadn't even published its charter yet. Hamas would not take control of Gaza for another 19 years. Yet the footage shows the same grim reality: a third of the land already seized for settlements. 650,000 Palestinians crammed into what was left. Refugees still waiting to return home, four decades after being expelled. The excuses change with the decade. The occupation predates them all. 🧭
