I always enjoyed the "John Bond Out" being chanted just before the goal. As a Birmingham fan it later transpired that his full name was NOT John Bondout, as I heard that so often during his time there as well. #BCFC #Niche80sFootballGag.

Takes me back to being 10 years old and the weekly treat of staying up late to watch MOTD. Brilliant.

What gets lost amongst all that is that Liverpool won this match 5-3 with a David Fairclough hat-trick.

Just takes me back to my childhood and staying awake to watch MOTD. Didn't this goal open the credits for MOTD the following season or did I imagine that?
