decent players, but the why they were drafted weighs heavy here.

When people post their little graphics about how Burrow doesn’t have as many All Pro’s/Pro Bowler’s as Lamar, Josh, Pat or Jalen helping him … the draft is why, instead of taking the best player possible who has a chance to become one of those, they draft for need a round early.

it feels a lot like the billy price pick, compounded by their being multiple positions of similar glaring need. 100% agree that it's a march problem.

1) I’m fairly certain they care nothing or possibly don’t even look at the consensus board. 2) the way Dehner talks on Pratt they basically wanted Pratt off the team.

1) that's usually bad 2) that was obvious but it can't get in the way of making good decisions for the rest of the team

Personally I think the last few years have been building to this. Constant misses in the draft and free agency and an unwillingness to be proactive with your good players has left gaping holes that only bad reaches can “fill”

They’ve got like 4-5 people technically running the team. Scouting department is bare bones. Just to maximize profit. Hiring a real GM, 2-3 more scouts would make a world of difference for them.
