The scam goes deeper than that Towns with huge Section 8 population are milking the system in simple ways Let's say I buy a house, get married, and have a child, in the states eyes I get divorced (but in my religion I am still the husband and father) I put the house up for Section 8 and let my ex-wife and my child live there (I also would live there unbeknownst to the government) and let them pay for everything, living a house not only for free, but they're paying the mortgage so I'm building free equity The easiest way to end a lifelong free housing scam is to put a time limit on it

The welfare reform act (TANF) was enacted by Bill Clinton during his presidency. It was the one piece of legislation I completely support. Two years and you’re off. Obama repealed TANF his first week in office, creating yet again welfare lifers. Thankfully, it’s back in place.
