UPI transactions typically require a 4-6 digit UPI PIN to authorize payments, not an OTP (which is used for registration or linking accounts). This video is misleading and shall discourage people from helping others, the real needy ones.

Discourages genuine people in need of help. The idea is to dial the number, place on speaker and let the guy complete his call.

Reason why India is such a low trust society, dog eats dog. But of course our culture is great, we are vishwaguru :D

Always lock your screen while doing this

You can hide the messages app in both android and iOS platform with your FaceID or passcodes, so whenever you get a message only YOU can access it. So even if someone try to play this trick on you, they won't be able to read the OTP just from notification.

Possible solution to help is only allow call on speaker phone with phone still with you. BUT calling and unknown number from your personal phone has some risk. ✌🏽
