It’s a mistake to see the YPJ as solely a response to end ISIS terrorism or an integral aspect of Kurdish national liberation. The YPJ are a permanent military force that will only dissolve itself when capitalist, statist and patriarchal oppression ends. They are ideologically committed to protecting women... show more

Kurds should be armed on the level Ukrainians are armed.

Thank you. It seems that in the Middle East, the Jewish state is perpetually scrutinized and criticized, while other nations, where women lack fundamental rights, where dissent is punished by death, and where honor killings are rampant, are largely ignored. When Israel defends itself from rocket attacks, the global outcry is swift and fierce. Despite Israel's remarkable contributions across various fields—be it technological innovations, humanitarian efforts, or medical breakthroughs—the media often overlooks or underreports these achievements. I am committed to writing a daily article highlighting the positive impact of Israel’s accomplishments. My goal is to shed light on the genuine contributions of Israel and the Jewish people, hoping to influence those who seek an honest understanding of Israel’s role in making the world a better place.

I'd like to talk to you about telling the YPJ story in a global postcapitalist film series, how can we get in touch?

An all-female military unit can never bring about the social change you imply they bring. Even in Turkey, women have a higher status (FGM does not occur there). And to fight ISIS the main US partner is the Peshmerga, not these small Kurdish groups.

Stop being ideological and start being smarter in forging alliances with the west.

The lionesses of Syrian Kurdistan have sprung into action to heroically defend their land ! god bless them ! #DefendRojava #KurdsOnAlert #GirlPower 💖👍✌️

Interesting

These commies will be defeated

Bull sht! Those are all staged photo sessions. PR companies organize it. All captured or killed Kurdish terrorists have different clothes and different faces, and 95% of them are men!

I wonder why no “feminist” cheery for Kurdish women of YPJ like they cheer for Palestinians and Iranians ?

There is no country in earth, which wouldn't benefit from a YPJ.
