it's a nice thought, but it actually wouldn't prevent racists from finding arbitrary differences between people, even if they have to invent them. fairly oddparents spoke on this

I should mention that this was likely not intended as a racism analogy. It's about how some people will find any reason to justify putting others below themselves. It just happens that white supremacist and bully mentality line up pretty closely a lot of the time

You can erase differences. You can’t erase prejudice. Timmy learns that making everyone look the same won’t stop bullying. Stripping away outward diversity does not create equality, it just forces people to invent new, arbitrary metrics to look down on others.

When children's shows teach about rich/poor, big/small, weak/strong, if someone's upset about something in their life, there are plenty of things they can find to comment about others to make themselves feel better and honestly I'd like to ask some of the bullies if it worked

Another reason why the belief of eugenics is horribly flawed. Even if those deemed "undesirable" are culled, they'll just find another group to deem "undesirable", and that cycle would persist until all that's left is a shriveled, inbred population destined for extinction.

And it be your own people too. People always got to find a way to feel superior over others.

While this is true and I agree with you, "[cartoon] spoke on this" is a very hilarious phrase 🤣

For real. Like, back when white people reigned supreme in Victorian England, they discriminated based on "class", i.e. how rich/posh or poor/bogan someone was, which... to be fair, is a *tad* more justified, but it was frowned upon to *marry* outside one's class.

The Wolf and the lamb is a children’s fable, but the moral it tells; “a tyrant or bully will always find an excuse to justify their cruelty, regardless of truth or logic.” Is saddeningly correct.

Fairly oddparents is a television show for kids made by people who don’t see the reasons for racism, reality is not.

They’d either pull out the “I’m grayer” card, or bring up stuff like height and the already existing gender superiority complex, so yeah, inequality and supremacist mentalities always find a way unfortunately

I remember seeing a tweet that said if all people of color were to disappear how fast would discrimination happen, I myself think less than a week and redheads would be treated the worse

Yeah white people bully other white people. Black people bully other black people. Skinny people bully other skinny people. Ugly people bully other ugly people. As long as people exist they will find something about themselves they hate and make it someone else's problem.

People of all races are already dividing people based on gender, so they don’t Even need races to all mix up to find other arbritary différences between people
