When you’re talking about elections that are won or lost by 10,000 or 20,000 votes, and then you bring in 200,000 people and put them on a fast track to citizenship, that has a huge impact. This is without even considering any cheating—this is legalized. If this continues over the next four years, there won’t be any swing states. They’re importing voters. I think that’s obvious to anyone who looks at it. We’ll end up in a situation like California, which is essentially a one-party state. California has a supermajority Democratic government, so it’s one-party rule. And if you have one-party rule, that’s not a democracy. So I think action has to be taken now.” Elon Musk

I love the points he made here. People don't realise just how much Peter Obi has done for Nigeria already, even before the election. By moving across three parties in the past one year, he has, by his own footprints and popularity, given birth to three other recognisable parties, and thereby making sure that it will be almost impossible for Nigeria to fall into a one party state, at least for the next two years. He has left strong appendages in every party he has crisscrossed in that time; strong party builders: Alex Otti, Nenadi Usman, and now Enyinnaya Abaribe in the Labour Party, GRV and the Atiku camp in the ADC, and all the people who have so far joined him in the NDC. Even the PRP creeping into our consciousness was a result of Datti, whose last known strong political associate was Peter Obi, name-dropping the party in his last two interviews. This alone is already a big win for our democracy.

It’s already started … The land grab! Whose land is this really in WNC? Many think it’s just a bunch of white hillbillies who live there. Not so. This land has been lived on and stewarded by the Cherokee, Creek, Powhatan and many others for decades and decades! Is the government just going to take THIS land from them too? This has to stop. So much heritage is on those mountains and the government, if given a chance, is going to wipe it all out. Their Indian heritage will be buried along with all who died violently in the water and mud slides. 💔
