@ToyotaPacific Those that were up in arms abt them not taking Benson, might 2nd guess themselves if they had a chance to be in those interviews. 2 many armchair GMs think just talent & skill factors. Hockey IQ/smarts will take plyr much further than skill. Many 1st rnd busts have proven that

@ToyotaPacific Nucks can absolutely get Benson at 13th. Arizona will not pick a right shot Dmen again and the reason that Sabres want to trade with us is that they know Arizona will pick a forward and they are afraid Arizona will pick Benson. Lost the opportunity to get another asset

@ToyotaPacific What would we have gotten from moving down? What was the other team offering in exchange for the 11th pick? 13th and what? More picks? Taking back one of the Canucks bad contracts?? I think these are key questions to ask before knowing the virtue of moving down
