Okocha is very biased. He could have just chosen Messi and sang his praise without downgrading Ronaldo to just a target man like Haaland. There are different versions of Ronaldo: Man U version where he was a dribbler and midfield: Madrid version where he started as a winger before becoming a striker. Juventus version was the last where he dribbled less and focused purely on goal scoring and that's the version most people remember him from and that's the one people used to judge him. If this was said by a Gen Z then it wouldn't surprise me but for a legend who witnessed Ronaldo play at Man U to say he's just like Halaand is appalling and annoying and that's why people are disappointed and angry at Jay Jay.
