i think a lot of people need to come to terms with the fact that terrible people are still capable of making good music/art. her run with Moloko and much of what she’s released solo has been, frankly, pretty great. a lot of her recent commentary is damaging tho.. so i get it

Nico’s association with an album that is widely regarded as one of the best of all time provides her with immunity of sorts, with people being completely oblivious to or (more likely) willing to turn a blind eye to her bigotry. she’s also dead! Murphy is still actively a menace
