First of all, that word didn't come from the PD. It was actually a keyword used by panelist Lee Sangmin when the MC asked each panelist to describe the season with a keyword. "It's noir-romantic. There are quite a lot of scenes that feel very noir-like. And within that atmosphere, romance starts to develop. When the line between those two worlds begins to break down, it's really interesting to watch, but it's also sad and painful. Anyway, I think what makes this season of Heart Signal different from the previous ones is that you can really feel both of those elements, the intensity and the sweetness or loveliness. I think that's what makes it different" So he was basically explaining the scenes they had watched so far and the overall atmosphere of the season. Based on this press conference, it seems they had only seen the early episodes at that point, and the PD never mentioned anything about an unpredictable couple or anything like what people have been saying.
