This girl made me realize that English is too hard 😂

When the words were settled the English had French speaking rulers. The peasants didn't get to eat beef, pork, or lamb. So there are just the french words for the meat.

😭 no cause as someone who learned Spanish first I agree 😂 so ridiculous. The older I got the more I’m like noticing things like we at the park and put the car in park but they both different parks. That’s when I knew 😭😭😂

English is like three different languages in a trench-coat pretending to be an adult so that they can buy beer. Honestly tho, English is pretty cool. It has so many words because it incorporates foreign words that add specificity or meaning all the time. As for her criticisms; "Ahh, Sheep meat, yes, which tho." How are you more specific? I feel like you're leaving out that it's actually much more complicated to specify lamb or mutton in Chinese. Is it easier or harder than those two syllables or lest words in English. Or, are there just a severe lack of options in China? What about cuts and qualities of beef? How do you say Prime Bone-in Ribeye steak? Or distinguish between that and a package of ground Veal? I'm betting this is faux outrage they hope we will assume is legitimate, but maybe knowing Chinese would add context, and we'd understand that it's easier to say, yes, but conveys a barely usable minimal amount of information.

That went from adorable to funny to educational, I wasn't expecting to have some Chinese to practice when the video started. What a ride
