Lisa Ann spoke about what she sees as r6cism within the advlt entertainment industry, saying it has historically made interr6cial content more difficult for some performers to pursue. She explained that, in response, much of the content she now directs and produces is interr6cial, both as a personal preference and as a way to push against those barriers. “The industry is very r6cist, there’s no doubt about it. There’s a wh!te industry and there’s a very small culture for us to do interr6cial, and it’s not even enough of a culture for some performers to survive because there’s not enough companies doing interr6cial.”

Don’t let the “Get to do” crowd make you think that doing things you have to or need to isn’t where you’re supposed to be. We don’t have all have glamorous jobs or our dream jobs. Normally those are the jobs that people say they “Get to” do. Nothing is wrong with grinding to the bone until you’re you’re own boss or working from the bottom aiming for the time. Shoot, sometimes it’s about making sure everyone in your house is fed, cared for and clothed. Doing what has to be done is a necessity. It doesn’t make you a failure. It makes you a survivor. Let’s go to work.
