Steve Martin is nothing compared to Peter Sellers. At least as Inspector Closeau...

We were discussing this very film and scene at work on Saturday night. "Oh yes, I was considered to be the Pavlova of the parallel bars"

I remember seeing "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" at the cinema with a friend. During the dentist scene in the castle, we were literally rolling on the floor laughing! 😂. Peter Sellers was extraordinary ! And Herbert Lom was amazing too 😀👍

In the colour film era, there is no one who matches Peter Sellers for slapstick timing and comic effect. Inspector Clouseau was his greatest character. The third film, Return of the Pink Panther, was in my opinion the best of all. It, Airplane & Blazing Saddles my top 3 all-time.

He died far too young. Wish he made two more pink panther movies at least

To me even though it is only a portion of the scene, this is one of the top 3 funniest scenes in all cinema. Now, to be fair, the longer version of the entire interrogation of the staff and consequent fall-out what I consider to be the absolute best.

If memory serves correct - and I think it does - that was the only time I laughed during the whole of the film.

One of my favorite scenes ever. It is like slapstick taken to an entirely different level.

Je parle en tant que français : ce film est un pur chef-d'oeuvre. C'est un classique dans ma famille depuis tout petit. Excellente initiation au génie de Peter Sellers!

I was a big fan of Peter Sellers, fantastic comic actor. They say he did not have an off-screen personality of his own, but tended to imitate his movie characters even while off screen. He once imitated an Indian doctor for months in his daily life. When Kermit the Frog told Sellers he could relax and just be himself, Sellers replied: But that, you see, my dear Kermit, would be altogether impossible. I could never be myself ... You see, there is no me. I do not exist ... There used to be a me, but I had it surgically removed. — Peter Sellers, The Muppet Show, February 1978
