It's almost 2025, and Samsung still doesn't have an unlocking animation from sleep... While a 2018 Huawei does. Lol.

One word for this: Ridiculous. 😭 Virat Kohli was carrying luggage in both hands while walking down the stairs, and people were still asking him for an autograph. 😥 - He doesn't have a third hand to sign, does he? 😭

HUAWEI JUST DID SOMETHING YOUR IPHONE CAN’T There’s a feature on Huawei phones that’s actually useful and 100% original. Nope, not copied from iPhone or Samsung this time. Even tech nerds are shook. Source: techcrazycrane

If anyone still doesn't understand what I'm talking about, just watch this video. Three Samsung widgets on the same screen have three completely different blur levels. There's no consistency whatsoever. It's honestly ridiculous. Even an elementary school student wouldn't make such a basic design mistake.

Engineering might be super sub-par in Midnight, but it does have one amazing thing: an embellishment that causes races with special jump animations to ALWAYS use that special animation. It's useable even by non-engineers too, and doesn't count towards the 2-embellishment cap.

Samsung should straight away copy this animation from iPhone. The transition from lock screen to Home Screen is so seamless smooth and feels alive. Whereas Samsung feels like it’s confused what to show and even if it does smoothly it feels life less and plain. One UI 8.5 & iOS 18
