That's not what happened tho. Luffy didn't ask her. He just picked her up and saved her. And Robin even refused and said "I don't have reason to live. Leave me here to die!". And Luffy said "Why would I listen to you?" 😅

Robin is the original “you thought saving my life meant I owed you? Naw, you saved my life so now I’m your problem.” The only difference is she’s not a problem at all and we love her big sister energy.
