I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just swap out the images with new artist made ones once it became clear this shit would be toxic to the goodwill of the film. This feels like a lot of deflecting and not addressing the real problem.

They say the film is original but the "art" used in it, isn't. A/I images are made from stolen work, nothing about it is original and the fact that they don't care. Makes me not care about this film, you don't respect artist then ditto to you too. Not going to see the film.

The filming of Gaspar Noé's "Love" (2015) began in October 2014 and was completed in February 2015, 3 months prior to its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. According to Noé, the movie wasn't ready when the official selection was announced. One week later, the first edit of the movie was ready and Noé showed it to Thierry Frémaux, director of the Cannes Film Festival. He thought it would be good to have the movie in the festival. Noé had to work 20 hours a day to complete the movie on time. The movie was complete mere hours before the official premiere. Since he was tired, Noé slept while watching the premiere of the movie. He only woke up when the end credits came up. Noé said that he had never worked so hard to finish something on time. The film only got out of competition slot instead of the coveted slot in the competition. Noé said that it was important for him to premiere the film at Cannes, the section did not matter to him. Andrzej Zulawski on why 'The Devil" (1972) was an important movie for him & the advice Andrzej Wajda gave him: "'The Third Part of the Night' (1971) was extremely important being the first film of course, but also for the way it is written. The flashbacks, the cuts or whatever, and the essence of the story is essentially the story of my father. Starting with that I really wanted to say Hello, I know, we know…we remember…je me souviens…like in Quebec. Stylistically it was not for me any kind of breakthrough into a different way of filmmaking, and 'The Devil' (1972) was. Wajda told me once, maybe one of the two things he said which I keep with me today, he said: "Look…be careful because the first day of the shooting of your new film, independently of the time which has passed between the two, will be the last day of the film which you just did before.” It’s so right, and so when we started 'The Devil', first day I remember, we started with this travelling shot, this elegant photography because 'Third Part of the Night' is elegant visually, anyway for me; then I said “Oh God, something is radically wrong…forget the rails, take the camera in hand and let’s do the film like a documentary about a bloody dream in which the history of Poland collapsed, etc. etc.” We did the film almost entirely with hand-held camera so it was a radical departure stylistically from the first film. This break was most important to me than anything later on, in technique." (Zulawski's interview with Donato Totaro, Offscreen, 2013)

NIGHTBORNE is the first full test AI film I have made. It was made using Seedance 2.0. I've been experimenting with AI for a couple of years, and it's now at the point where I want to tackle a full feature in this format. This is a 13-minute test start. It was made with real concept artists, and features the faces and voices of 32 real people. Barley Studios will be my new AI studio for creating my own films, the way Oats Studios was for traditional film and VFX. Barley studios Full film in the reply.

Suzuki along with others in the film business, film critics, and students protested in unfairness since, by contract, Nikkatsu was supposed to release the finished film theatrically. It went to court, with a ruling in favor of the director. Nikkatsu had to pay for damages and have the film released. Suzuki's contract with Nikkatsu was terminated, and with the bad reputation, was unable to work on a feature film for the next 10 years. (Source: IMDb)
