It’s an #Intel 8080! 50 years ago, to this date, Intel launched the 8bit 8080 CPU. 🥳 Anyone has any good memories using this processor?

I had many fond memories of this chip. I had one in my Altair (MITS 8800) computer. Altair is also the name of one of the main characters in my first novel. 😎

memories? we actually use it! 😅 it is processor used in the Siemens VSE2 line simulator, probably a kind of product developed only for internal use, but so well constructed that is working fine even today! 🔥

68xx I think it was that I recall to some degree 8080 not so much.
