“It’s an open investigation, so I can’t divulge that information.” James Freeman does the one thing cops and government employees absolutely cannot handle: he talks to them exactly the way they talk to us. Watch how fast they melt down the moment the script flips.

Why won't they just comply with the investigations? They should be charged with obstructing.

He does this to show that their that's the normal reaction people should have towards cops, also it shows that they're hypocrites when they can't recognize people have the same reaction towards them when they say the same things.

that was extremely well done. The people gawking at this have no idea how difficult that is to pull off while under duress. That's extreme interaction just normally. Attempting that with police is another level, and the way he maintains control is extraordinaray. tipshat

What's interesting is how responsive some of them are to a stranger exercising authority once their initial incredulity subsides. It's both funny and terrifying. Grab a clipboard, speak the language, and you, too, can take charge.

That's because they're all Federalized now & essentially work for the Federal gov't. I havent' found a sheriff in Texas that's not. The Dept of Public Safety is nothing but a criminal enterprises, as dead kids in Uvalde testifies. Plus, their 75-IQs. Their first impulse is hate!

Jensen Huang on how he motivates employees that are already rich “How do you keep your employees motivated and energetic when they’ve probably become richer than they ever expected?” the moderator asks Jensen. Jensen replies: “My direct reports include 55 people. I write no reviews for any of them. I give them constant [feedback], and they provide the same to me… Many of our executives are paid the same—exactly to the dollar. I know it’s weird. And I don’t do 1-on-1s with any of them, unless they need me. Then I’ll drop everything for them. I never have meetings with them alone, and they never hear me say anything to them that is only for them to know. There’s not one piece of information that I secretly tell ‘E-staff’ that I don’t tell the rest of the company. That way, our company is designed for agility, for information to flow as quickly as possible, for people to be empowered by what they do—not what they know. So that’s the architecture of our company.” With respect to motivation, Jensen explains: “The answer for that is my behavior. How do I celebrate and talk about success? How do I celebrate failure? How do I talk about setbacks? Every single day, I’m looking for opportunities to instill the culture of the company — What is important? What’s not important? What’s the definition of good? How do you compare yourself to good? How do you think about good? How do you think about the journey? How do you think about results? All of that, all day long.” Video source: Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (2024)
