@benjhunt Aston can poach Adrian Newey, build a world-class factory and pile up all the sponsors it wants. Until it does one thing, it will never be serious about contending for a championship. And we all know what that one thing is.

That’s the question. Who would give Lance a seat if he was a free agent? What else, apart from money, would he bring to the team? As a seven year veteran now, who would class him as a safe pair of hands, a consistent point scorer, or a team leader? Then why have him if you’re going for a WC? Make it make sporting sense. It’s getting embarrassing now, seeing this tragic family drama unfold.

@benjhunt As long as Daddy runs the team he'll have a race seat. If ANY other team owner was in charge of AM, Lance would've been dropped like a bad habit.

@benjhunt No one inside the team would be brave enough to tell Papa Stroll to let his son go, but everyone outside knows the writing is on the wall for Lance.

@benjhunt The only 'career-ending' move for Lance Stroll is either a) his dad sells the team or b) it turns out he isn't his father's son. While Lawrence still owns the team, Lance has a seat for as long as he wants it.

@benjhunt He is just following his dad's dreams. You can sence he is not enjoying the racing. He will never be on top, they will never be on top, not this way.

@benjhunt The guy already had like 10 career-ending moves. But yeah daddy bought the team so 😅

@benjhunt I think Lance didn’t fancy Sunday, parking it in the gravel saved a rebuild and was partly plausible. After he tried a low speed spin to the wall. Maybe he looked at the weather and thought it wasn’t worth the risk

@benjhunt The worrying issue is his chill attitude about all his mistakes. He brushes them off knowing daddy has his back.
