It is actually both. Aum is the dhwani/beej mantra of Agna Chakra, it opens the pineal, also known as third eye. whereas OM is the dhwani/beej mantra of Shasrara Charkra, it opens the gateway/crown to divine. 🙏

@biharigurl it both aum and om, om is combination of all vowels (sounds of the universe concept comes from this), अ to अं. aum is a+u+m अ+उ+अं. उ is the middle vowel. o in om is sandhiviched of a+u अ+उ=औ, so you can sorten aum to om. chatting both is same as chatting on all vowels.
