We've checked the RCN survey and can confirm BBC Scotland misled the public. The only reference to patients dying in corridors was in the English NHS sample. The only reference to a miscarriage in a side room was in Yorkshire. There was no mention of anyone dying in a corridor in Scotland. The closest in the Scottish subsample was mention of a patient who was *told* they were dying when they were in a corridor. "We have had to review patients and break bad news in the A&E corridor. We told a patient he was dying as patients were wheeled past and orders shouted across the unit." There was also no reference to any miscarriages happening in side rooms in Scotland. The closest was a couple who were given care advice after a miscarriage. "Discussing with a couple their miscarriage care options in a corridor" Source -
