Do we hate multiplayer games? At this point, yeah kinda. Shit has been ruined by live service, cheating, aim assist crossplay, constant rebalancing/meta changes, etc. It’s just not very fun anymore unless you’re willing to dedicate your entire life to one video game.

For someone who talks like they know a lot about video games, Shroud really comes off as a casual. Hades II is goated.

Feel like the first full on gamer generation (myself included) has reached a point where single player is more important. We're older/slower have kids, can't keep up and don't care to with multiplayer games. The single player experience is more rewarding. Thus these results.

Arc Raiders won best MP game. They even saved the final reveal of the whole show for a new multiplayer game and Shroud probably still thinks they all hate multiplayer games

We live in an upside down world now where unrealistic things are the new norm. Take male pregnancies for example. In saying that, we shouldn't be surprised that a Hades 2 beat Battlefield.

For anyone who’s actually played Hades 2, it’s one of the best action games of the decade. It clears its predecessor easily imo offering more than double the content than the first Hades. Not to mention it retails for $30.

Every multiplayer arcade military shooter in the last 18 years is some derivative of cod4. Its inspirations and elements are laid bare, and BF6 as good as it is, is just an improved BF4. A multiplayer game will have to really rock the boat to win an award again.

Multiplayer shooters have been ass and it feels like they put no effort whatsoever into making them. There are good multiplayer games but cod & Battlefield have been horrible. How is this hard to understand that you don’t reward mediocre games? 😂

Battlefield 6, which has been absolutely plagued by audio issues, won the award for best audio. You can’t hear footsteps, half the time my tank is silent and there’s been a crackling issue on ps5 since launch. Give these devs an award!
