Scoop for you. Someone planted some bombs at two politically important buildings on January 5. Then the Feds swept up all the cell numbers close by from that night, about 100 total. They did really smart Fed things with all their Fed technology to take a closer look. One cell number — ONLY one — was at both bomb locations. That one, they ignored. One cell number was about a mile away. In a vehicle, not on foot. They did some more Fed technology magic and discovered that person had ordered, before and since, some “bomb components.” They were actually model rocket parts, but the Feds were pretty sure they were also bomb components. The owner of that phone was a twenty-something autistic black kid who lives with his family. They ruled that guy out for smart Fed reasons. Then five years later, a phalanx of Feds showed up at that guy’s house and handcuffed him, his mom, and his dad. Surprise! Then they interrogated the kid. They showed him video of the pipe bomber in action and told him it was him. He didn’t remember doing any of that, but they seemed very smart and important, so okay. Then they put the kid in jail. Where he still sits. And boom. “We got him,” said the @FBI . That kid is Brian Cole Jr. It’s a crazy story. You should do a story about it. @FreeBrianCole
