It’s been 36 years since this tremendous touch by Dragan Stojkovic vs Spain. Filthier than a miner’s shovel. (👍🎥 @forgottengoals)

@forgottengoals He wasn’t seen much in Britain, hence he goes under the radar to an extent. But he was a mesmeric talent. He was Hoddle and Gascoigne rolled into one. In a super-strong field, he’s the most gifted player to ever emerge from the Balkans. 👏

@forgottengoals That kit, by the way. Nearly as good as Stojkovic. 🔥

@forgottengoals Not wishing to be that guy but I miss the old World Cup days when Yugoslavia (as it was) had a midfielder who hardly anybody knew who bossed games from midfield with silky skills while smoking before, during and after games..same goes for their deadly strikers.

@forgottengoals Great players they had.....and great shirts

@forgottengoals He was a talent. In 1988 he played for Red Star Belgrade against Celtic (2-2 friendly) and he was on a different level. Walked everywhere, immaculate first touch. Absolute joy to have witnessed.

@forgottengoals He scored 2. Second from free kick. Also beauty.

@forgottengoals Outstanding player

@forgottengoals Filthier than a miners shovel is a class saying 😂😂😂

@forgottengoals Se comió el amague Martín Vázquez

@forgottengoals era un equipo con el vestuario roto porque no soportaban a su entrenador y nos mandaron a casa con dos genialidades de Stojkovic
