It’s been 38 years since Aztec Camera released this banger…

This is what is commonly known as a fucking tune

One of those songs that instantly makes you feel happy.

So underrated!!

@Tafftheboll2 This is one of my favourites along with 'Oblivious'

Gosh, this brought back some sad memories. My friend died of cancer at 19. He requested this song for his funeral. Can't believe it's 38 years ago.

Ahh, Roddy Frame. I used to have such a crush on him 😍

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ @RoddyFrame

@StuLRobson77 Even then it was unusual to hear such a superb guitar solo in a pop (rather than rock) song

Good Morning Britain Was A Better Track ....but yes this is indeed a Banger

38 years you say? 😱😱😱 I remember singing to this song jumping around on my bed! 😳 not sure i could do that now! 🤭🤣

Massively song, one of the 80s most underrated tunes

@harphat I could never work out why @RoddyFrame wasn’t a huge star. Wonderful songs

I saw them, up Kentish Town Way in London. Roddy Frame aka Aztec Camera.

They just don’t make great pop songs like this now !! Elite tier song 🎵

Brilliant song but bittersweet because it's the only Aztec camera song they play on the radio

The Crying Scene should have been a massive hit. I’ll never understand why it wasn’t.

Ill take 'Oblivious' over this.

@joe_averagejoe Record company: Roddy, can you give us a huge worldwide hit instead of your usual introspective Scottish jazz tinged offerings? Roddy: Aye, I suppose.

I bought the Hard Rain … album (not sure of the name) as an import because i liked the name. I’m in the US and i still live that album 40+ years later. I don’t recognize this song, though.

As good a pop song as you could ever wish I hear , genius writing from @RoddyFrame

Still pop music's greatest ever guitar solo.

@ZoeNope Love Roddy Frame.

Every single member of that band was, in my fevered imagination, a butch lesbian under their jackets 😂🤷

38 years. Blimey where has the time gone? Compare life back then with what the kids have now. Someone running the simulation has an axe to grind clearly.

@bedford_colleen What a fucking song!!

Loved Aztec Camera and Roddy Frame, but this was never a favourite.

Used to play at 'The Pink Toothbrush in Raleigh Essex - takes me back to the late 80s and teen years - great times

“Summer in the city and the air is still”, love, love, LOVE THIS! Can’t believe it’s that old! I’ll be singing this all day now.

Their work extends well past this mainstream track. The back catalogue is excellent

Aztec Camera 🙌 Loved them , love this Song 🎶 Ah this is memories remember blasting this with my friends singing along 🎤😁 Craicing Wee Tune 💚

I'm word perfect singing this (badly)

Instant feel good banger

I love this banger

@FruellaDeBrille Music! Took me right back then thanks xx

@deedeesadler Man, I love this song tonnes ❤️ I think I still have the 7 inch vinyl record.
