I live in London and the mornings are so cold (about 9 degrees) that I have to have the heating on for a while. It is not until the mid-afternoon that it gets warm(ish) outside, and even then, it quickly cools down. This is not 'hot'! Stop the hyperbole!

Does nobody ever come to Scotland?? I mean ffs we get about two weeks warm a year it’s maybe a nice place to visit but the weather SUCKS! It’s nearly May and the heating is still on. In fact it’s on longer each bastarding year!

The Met Office said that South East England has now officially met the heatwave criteria, after three days of temperatures above 28. Temperatures are set to continue to rise across the UK throughout the week, and more regions are likely to reach their local heatwave thresholds.
