And if you talk to their people, Bessent and Hassett and the others, they believe what they did with the tariffs, what they did with the tax, that permanency and other tax cuts in the summer is going to lead to a boom in 2026.” “The January data suggest that they might be right. But there's other things going on here regarding what kind of jobs we have in America.
