Only those of us who have survived a magnitude 7.9 earthquake lasting 45 seconds truly understand the fear and uncertainty that this phenomenon of Mother Nature entails. It is an indescribable sensation—and worst of all is not knowing what is going to happen next or how your loved ones are doing. 🙏🏻

Being in a swimming pool in a hugh rise would be terrifying. Fortunately it hit during daylight hours. Nighttime would be worse, trying to find a safe place in the dark.

I feel for all the people in these prone areas. One day we will take these things on earth... or maybe we will be tamed. The earth may be doing these in spite to us.

Oh my gosh, the nurse with the little babies, I would have never thought about that and how scary that would be to have all those little life’s and their nicu machines attached to some, being thrown around. God bless her, and everyone else who’s had to experience this.

A caso no tienen alarma sísmica?En CDMX suena una alarma que nos da al menos 30 segundos para ponernos a salvo en puntos seguros, para evitar el mayor número de decesos posibles. Fue la experiencia después del terremoto del 85 y en el 2017 se notó la diferencia de la preparación
