Who’s Helping Myanmar After the Devastating Earthquake? Around 20 countries including China, Thailand, South Korea, ASEAN nations, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia have sent rescue teams, paramedics, sniffer dogs and emergency aid to Myanmar after the country was struck by its most powerful earthquake in a century on Friday. Of those countries, 15 sent rescue teams comprising a total of 1,915 members as of Wednesday, the junta said.
