It's been over a year since the Highway Code was updated - many people are still unaware of the changes. In this quick video we explain four key rules: hierarchy of road users, passing cyclists, junction priority and the Dutch Reach. Please share to spread awareness.

This does explain it a bit better, but cyclists don't want to be stuck in the middle of the road, turning right, for any longer than they have to be. It's a very vulnerable place. 🚴

Pedestrians and disabled are the most vunerable. While out to day l notice cyclist wont stop for pedestrians and disabled people we need cycling training and a licence and road test . I was cycling

Did you know to get a TfL minicab/private hire license in London a Uk driving test is not required so neither is an understanding of the Highway Code ? Madness I know🤷🏼♂️

Maybe if the cyclist passed the car leave 1.5 m gap they wouldn't have hit the car door

A driver does not 'have' to give way to pedestrians when turning into a road, a driver 'should' give way.

No mention of a right turn.

You should try taking a trip up St George’s Road in Glasgow around 5pm on a winter night.

This is sad. There is a 1.5 m allowance for the bike. You show someone passing in the next lane. Plenty of room for both. For straight ahead, you show a bike, not on the roadway crossing an intersection without stopping. Against the law. - if you are advocating, then follow

I agree with the sentiment but sadly I would suggest the solution was created by someone who's never driven, rode, or walked outside a village in the Shetland isles.
