The people of Kashmir now understand a great deal. They are well aware of what is happening—that one stance is taken in New Delhi and another in Srinagar. A lot of water has flowed under the Jhelum since then. Times have changed, people have become more aware, and many truths that were once unclear are now evident to the public.

From improving healthcare with new district and sub-district hospitals to advancing infrastructure by building bridges and roads, Azad Sahib laid the foundation for long-lasting growth. His policies in education, tourism, and employment uplifted many lives, including the creation of ITIs, degree colleges, and tourism centers that enhanced local economies. However, the progress halted after his government, leading to the current state of affairs in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, with DPAP, there’s an opportunity to return to those days of meaningful development and rebuild the state from the ground up.
