You did her proud today 👏 🙌 ❤️

She’d have been enormously proud!

She would have been *MEGA* proud of you. As we all are. And patients? Colleagues who work in #Diabetes? Super grateful 🙏🏼❤️👍

Here’s another one… snapped while watching the BBC in Paris (as one does on holiday 🧐)

She’s still with you @parthaskar hx

I remember wanting (needing) to chat to my mum (she passed away the previous yr) about my lovely son aged 22 who had just been diagnosed as a T1! Was devastated & just need my mum! Ofcourse he needed his mum so had to be super brave and we got through it!But,gosh,I miss her so 🥲

Partha your Ma knew you’d succeed with this. She’ll have a smile a mile wide.

@AnushtaS Heard it this morning,Partha. Eloquent and hopeful

Today and everyday your ma shines through you. She looks down on you with so much pride she saw you achieve so much for so many with diabetes. She gave you an amazing spirit and you use it for the good of many x

Huge congratulations onwards for the fight for T2 insulin diabetics? You know you want to! Remember your mum gave you so many skills that you are using now and helped you along the way during childhood. You are an amazing legacy for her - she lives on in you and would be so proud

She is of course looking down on you and with you 🫶🏽

Legend! Your mum would be super proud.. 🌟

Thank you for everything you do and continue to do 🙏🏽

This is epic. I see my pump clinic for the.first time hopefully soon so will be asking about closed loop @parthaskar and @DiabeticDadUK hopefully I can get one.

Thanks for all your work 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Great job

Your mother was incredibly proud of you and I’m sure wherever her spirit is she is still cheering you on. You have changed so many lives for the better what more could any parents wish for their son

Thank you so much for doing this 👏

You are an inspiration sir.

In some weird twist of fate today, Mr H put the news on in the morning (which we don’t often do) and I heard your dulcet tones before we saw you - I said “Ooh - that’s Partha” (meant nothing to him, being a surgeon who doesn’t do SM but I liked being correct!

Thank you for what you have worked so hard on and the awareness it also brings 🙏

Thank you for all your persistent work. I hope you get the international recognition/award you so obviously deserve.

So understand Partha. All those moments that they miss. My Mum would have been so proud of you too for all that you do and help people like her grandson she never knew. A big thank you from all of us.

It still needs good training and understanding for the patients - the staff have to understand how things interact. Could do with a demo app that lets patients see how things react, and how to adjust ratios etc. Think some still in the "bunch of carbs to avoid hypos" mindset.

My husband called me through to see the piece on closed loops on the news last night (obviously I follow you so knew it was coming) so I said well I hope our HERO doctor gets a mention - then there you where on the screen! So grateful for all you do 😀. You’re a credit to your Ma

Just forced my 10 year old niece to watch the BBC news channel for a bit just so I could see what you and they had to say. Well done and thank you.

She’s watching, with pride and in glory xx

Bless you.

Partha ♥️♥️♥️

So proud @parthaskar ! You are an inspiration ! Your mother’s pride lives on in the hearts of people whose lives have been made better.
