This shutdown is about the increase in ACA premiums for 45 Million Americans who qualify. The counter for Trump is the cost to our treasury of enough income tax reductions for the rich to cause a $4T budget deficit. Trump just doesn’t care.

The gop senate won’t accept any changes to the CR bill that the house passed. Because if they do, mr johnson would have to bring back house reps to vote on the changes. Which means he’d also have to swear in the new Democrat representative and that’s the 218th epstein vote.
