I run a small petshop, I watch people like you go to coles each day walking right past my shop to get their pet food (for mince etc I am cheaper to) and then wonder why all the small shops are closing down. Could you have bought the meat form a local butcher? Pasta from a smallgoods shop? Vegies from a vegie shop? Because once all these little shops close then coles and wollies will just charge what the fuk they like if they dont already.

It’s crazy. In terms of your pet food, (I don’t know where you live ) but if you can, find a farmer who kills his own meat as I do. We eat all our home grown meat and the off cuts go to our pets. They eat fresh and healthy. Saves us a lot of money and our dogs are healthy.
