It’s two fold: They don’t care about anything other than themselves & just like toxic men behave towards women, they don’t typically see us as human either. We are *function* that serves a means to an end. A sponsor, a retirement plan, a father. Lastly, a lot of women don’t actually like gay men. They befriend gays the same way people do pets…or racists to their token “other”. Thats why it’s so easy to hurl homosexuality as an insult. But of course they don’t do enough introspective work to realize this about themselves.

I don’t care for traditional gender roles tbh, my only problem is, why does the opposite of submission have to be completely going against the grain? We should be a team, which means it’s okay to disagree and it’s okay to compromise, it should not be because you don’t have me in full submission I don’t have to listen to anything you say. That’s still your partner and they should be given respect as your partner and a human being
