It’s crazy how every school has such different standards. If Geno Auriemma ever said this, UConn’s fan base would riot.

@KyleGarab whats wrong with being classy?? winning a natty would indeed be nice but its just an honor to get there. i never thought id see iowa get there. mens or womens

@KyleGarab Uconn had stacked rosters forever funny how people give all the credit to geno and dawn staley like they don’t have top teams

@KyleGarab Those two programs and fan bases have vastly different histories and expectations because of that history.

@KyleGarab It’s why Calapari just left Kentucky and Geno seems so bitter lately. Win it all or bust wears you down.

@KyleGarab that’s why we have 11 and they have none!

@KyleGarab Lisa Bluder is a Midwesterner through and through … nice to a fault. She’s also a national treasure now!

@KyleGarab Iowa won’t be back for a very long time now with Clark leaving. Iowa was only relevant because of her

@KyleGarab Just tells you about how Women's college bball has been dominated by a few teams for decades. The top teams monopolize nearly all of the best high school recruits. Teams like UConn SHOULD expect to win the title just about every year. It's slim pickings for the rest.

![Geno Auriemma was asked about appreciating the success of the UConn men's & women's team this season and recalled the "dumbass" things people wrote after the men lost to Creighton "If you're a fan of [only] winning, move to another state and see how much you win over there"](https://image.24vids.com/tw-2027214301220495780/media/HCIcqbRbIAAykm3.jpg)
