It’s crazy how my Second Brain is getting stronger and stronger at finding Alpha. The Karpathy Obsidian Vault framework, combined with the new data-mining sessions, is one of the best ways to improve your agents. Based on your own framework and style, I’m not even trying to use agents...

Hi zenom do you use data mining to find new strategies combinations/ parameters?

No, only for my Claude/Codex conversations

dude, showing results is very different to showing how to get the results ... i have been thru all of it and even had my AI review it all. there is definite gaps on how to develop the strategies in the first place

looks amazing, are you using loops to let AIs interact with each other?

No, I tried to get Claude to enter the Codex app directly at one point and use it as an MCP server, similar to how I use the NT8 bridge

I can suggest antigravity and gemini 3.1 pro combo as well. For autonomous hypothesis-coding-backtest-validation process, it's incredibly cheaper than claude.

How do you set Up codex to update the backtests in NT8?

This is the move. The best system is your own thinking, documented and refined. Agents amplify a process, they don't replace one

THIS GUY CONNECTED HIS AI AGENTS TO HIS OBSIDIAN AND BUILT A BRAIN THAT LEARNS ON ITS OWN. HERE'S HOW TO BUILD IT Obsidian is just markdown files sitting in a folder. That turns out to be the perfect memory for an AI agent, because an agent can read and write those files directly. He wired his agents into the vault so they pull context from it, do the work, and write what they learned back. The notes aren't the point. The loop is, and it gets sharper every cycle How to build it: 1. Point an agent at your vault. The fastest way, no plugins, no API keys: open a terminal and run npx obsidian-mcp /path/to/your/vault. That exposes your Obsidian folder to Claude as a tool it can read, search, and write to. Add it to your Claude Code or Cowork config and restart 2. Confirm it can see the brain. Ask it: "list the notes in my vault and summarize what's in them." If it reads them back, the connection is live. Now it starts every task with everything the vault already holds instead of from zero 3. Give each agent one job and a write-back rule. Tell it: "research this, then save what you found as a new note in /brain with links to related notes." One agent researches, one summarizes, one plans. Each writes its output back into the vault 4. Close the loop. Add one line to every agent's instructions: "read /brain before starting, write your result back when done." Now each task leaves the vault richer, and the next run reads that before it works. It compounds instead of resetting 5. You only steer. Review what the brain produces, point it at the next thing. The agents handle the reading, writing, and connecting The edge isn't better notes. It's a brain that feeds itself, so the work gets sharper every cycle instead of starting over Bookmark this

I still don’t understand why people keep building a Claude second brain by hand when these 10 repos already built the whole system They turn your Claude sessions into a wiki, let Claude read and write your vault from your phone, and one of them comes straight from Obsidian’s own CEO 01 llm-wiki → your Claude Code and Codex sessions become a searchable wiki, with an MCP server to query it 02 llm-wiki-claude-skill → one skill file teaches Claude to ingest sources, answer from them, lint the wiki and compile it into clean pages 03 obsidian-skills → Obsidian’s own CEO teaches Claude how Obsidian really works 04 llm-wiki → a Claude Code plugin with init, ingest, compile, query and lint, where every change is committed to git 05 obsidian-dev-second-brain → your tickets, sprints and project docs live in the vault as notes, and Claude keeps them in sync with the code 06 obsidian-mcp-server → 14 tools to read, write, search and surgically edit notes, tags and frontmatter 07 mcpvault → safe vault access with a read-only mode, and Obsidian doesn’t even need to be running 08 obsidian-claude-code-mcp → connect Claude Code to your open vault with one /ide command 09 obsidian-web-mcp → reach your vault from your phone or any MCP client, with OAuth and a Cloudflare Tunnel 10 obsidian-mcp → a git-backed vault with 18 tools, running locally or on AWS Lambda Nobody is going to build your second brain for you, and every chat you close without one is knowledge thrown away. Bookmark this, pick one repo from 01 to 05 and ingest your first source tonight. A month from now you have a wiki, and everyone who skipped it is still opening a blank chat.

One of the smartest things you can do with Fable 5 right now: Re-create your AI second brain to log all your business ideas, personal context, and important data. The first time I built an AI second brain was with Opus, but I recently re-created it with Fable 5, and it blew my mind. Here's exactly how to get started: Step 1. Set up your Obsidian vault Download Obsidian from Obsidian dot md if you haven't already. Then, go ahead and create a clean vault with your most important folders. For example: /ideas → business ideas, content angles, random thoughts /context → who you are, your business, your goals, your stack /data → important numbers, portfolios, metrics /log → daily entries, decisions, lessons learned This is your database. Everything Fable reads lives here. Step 2. Connect Fable 5 to your vault I like this Claude Code prompt: "/goal connect to my Obsidian vault at [path] and act as my second brain orchestrator. Read everything in /context before every session. Log anything new I tell you to /log with today's date." Fable now reads your vault before it answers anything - it knows your business, your goals, your history. Step 3. Build the self-update habit Every time you have an idea, a decision, or a lesson, tell Fable: "Log this to my second brain: [thought]" Step 4. Start querying it You can start sending prompts like: → "What are the most common themes across my last 30 ideas?" → "Based on my context, what should I be prioritising this week?" → "What decisions have I made about my content strategy so far?" Opus was good at this, but Fable is on another level. I feel the depth of reasoning it brings to your data is genuinely unlike anything I've used before. Some might argue it's a bit of overkill to use Fable for a simple second-brain setup, but if you have the means, it's 100% worth it. Build this once, and it'll compound forever.

FOREVER is partnering with Priors to bring agent reputation and credit infrastructure into the Forever Framework. An autonomous economy needs ways for agents to establish credibility and access capital. Priors provides infrastructure for both, with public credit records built from onchain borrowing and repayment activity. Starting with the FOREVER protocol itself, agents will be able to use Priors’ existing tools to assess credit histories and access lending, including borrowing USDG against supported tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain. These capabilities will give agents more ways to develop strategies within the mandates and limits approved by holders. Priors’ credit records will also provide an additional signal for evaluating agents, complementing their proposal history and performance within FOREVER. As we open up the framework for anyone to launch their own autonomous funds and protocols, these tools will become available across the network, allowing new agents to use the same reputation and lending infrastructure. Every new infrastructure partner strengthens the framework, expanding the range of strategies agents can propose and execute autonomously. We started with Orbio, followed by Priors, and will continue bringing in the best builders on Robinhood Chain. Our goal is to build an entire economy where agents can establish a track record, compete for capital, and execute increasingly sophisticated strategies, with holders governing how that capital is allocated. Built to last FOREVER.
