Plus, in many cultures, it's more socially acceptable to hate the "homewrecker" rather than face the betrayal inside the home. But honestly... The third party might not even know. They could've been lied to. Maybe they were told the person was single. The one who holds the real responsibility is still the partner. They knew the commitment. They knew the boundaries. They chose to break them. If a ship is leaking, don't blame the ocean.
