It’s easy to replace the battery in your AirTag. Here’s how.

Just don't use the @Duracell CR2032 with the bitter coating because they don't work in AirTags. The coating covers the battery where the AirTag contacts are. Quick brush with sandpaper solves it but still catches people out thinking they've bought dudd batteries.
